Lights… Camera… Action!

Recently, the Friends of the Oceanside Public Library and the Library staff wanted to acknowledge how well the community has responded during the pandemic. But instead of just saying it, they put it to music in a video love song to Oceanside!

The song, entitled The “O,” features lyrics and music by local performer Shane Hall. Hall appears in colorful scenes shot by KOCT-TV throughout the Oceanside CA Cultural District, interspersed with video of people whose contributions make the city both diverse and unique.

Celebrate – enjoy – share! See below.

Commissioned by Oceanside Public Library and funded by the Friends of the Oceanside Public Library; additional funding provided by Visit Oceanside and the City of Oceanside
